Wipeout 2097 too fast - how can i slow down games under win

i´ve tried many of these slowdown programs such as moslo, slowdown, cpu killer and so on, but they don´t work properly. i´ve got a amd duron 800, 640 megs of ram and a geforce 4 mx.

how can i slow down games like wipeout 2097/XL under win xp?

I would recommend trying to get ahold of a slower video card. Try a matrox g200. Did you try reading the technical support for the program? or patching it? You should find great difficulty getting support. Stupid sony bought out Psygnosis and it's hella hard to get help with any of the old apps.

i don´t want to change my computer peripheras just to play an old game. there seems to be no support for wo2097 - no patches, nothing

I am trying to run wipeout on my winXP with voodoo3 card.

 

I have a little program called Turbo, that will slow cpu in % for playing older cpu timed games.

 

"Turbo for Windows 95 and NT"

 

Hope we both make this cool game work : )
