Empire Earth, probably problem with refresh rate

Hi,

I have a AMD Athlon XP 1700+ with a Geforce2 MX400 64mb DDR Tv-Out but a really old Monitor which it doesn't work over 60hz.

When I run Empire Earth i have the classical problem of invalid resolution/refresh rate, i can't see nothing on my display, just lot of lines, but the sounds and keyboard works good.

With Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 I had the same problem but I've fixed it forcing the refresh rate at 60hz with the game's patch.

Any patch for this game ? Can anyone help me please?

Well, you could try what follows, but only do so if it's your own system, as it may cause problems.

 

Click Start, Run, Type in DXDIAG, Click OK, click on the More Help tab, click on Override, then type in 60, then click OK. This should limit D3D games to 60mhz refresh rate.
