SteveNz 0 Posted June 4, 2002 Hi! I'm wondering if there is any way to make Windows NT not lose the mouse when I unplug the mouse from the back of the PC, I'm using a data transfer switch to have 2 mouse and keyboards for the one PC, but when I switch between, I lose the mouse... I need NT to think the mouse is still there, until I switch back... any Ideas? I tried installing plug and play support for NT but I had no luck Is this possible? Thanks!! DosFreak 2 Posted June 5, 2002 NT4? Actually you are not supposed to unplug the mouse when the computer is turned on because there is a slight chance that you might damage the PS2 port...this hasn't stopped me or anyone else I know however. Are the 2 mice the same kind of mice? If using 2 different mice even if they are both PS2 sometimes the drivers are not correct and NT will not be able to use the mouse. Share this post Link to post
