Changleska 0 Posted June 6, 2002 Has anybody figured out how to get the "save" feature in Gabriel Knight 1 to work? Share this post Link to post
ConQueso 0 Posted June 7, 2002 Try running it with ACT. Use Win98 layer. Go here for more info on how. Share this post Link to post
Changleska 0 Posted June 7, 2002 No luck. As soon as I hit the "save" button hello desktop. Share this post Link to post
Caynreth 0 Posted June 8, 2002 I don't have any problems with saving games, but i can play only with music and without sound or speech. Does sound or speech work for you? What were your sound-settings during install? Share this post Link to post
Changleska 0 Posted June 9, 2002 Sound and speech work fine. The only problem is when I press the save button. When I installed it the installer said that all of the tests were passed including speech and sound. Share this post Link to post
someshta 0 Posted September 12, 2002 I've got the exact same problem. I've downloaded ACT, and tried Win95 and Win98 modes, I've used the compatibility wizard, and nothing seems to help. I can play the game just fine, but I'm not able to save anything. It terminates the application and goes to desktop. Is there a way to work out a boot disk for this problem?
