hewittfe 0 Posted June 14, 2002 I have a Toshiba Tecra8000 running Windows 2000 with service pack 2. I have installed a parallel port 100mb zip drive. I`m using the latest iomega ioware. My problem is: Windows sees the zip drive, but when I try to open any folder on a zip disk, it takes forever to open and the whole system runs at a snails pace until I eject the zip disk. I just inherited this laptop, so I don`t have much experience with it. Any suggestions. Share this post Link to post
Sampson 0 Posted June 14, 2002 The parallel port can be configured for ECP or bi-directional on most Toshiba's. I think that iomega wants bi-directional. You will have to get into Toshiba's bios setup. On my old Satellite you hit F2 when you first started it up. When you get in go to Advanced, then to peripheral, then to parallel port, Share this post Link to post
