jeb2 0 Posted June 18, 2002 Fallout 2 can't run on my Win XP. The compatibility mode is useless. Are there some patches or fixes? Heeeeelp! Share this post Link to post
JP- 0 Posted June 18, 2002 If you have the original version then a patch is needed. http://www.interplay.com/interact/downloadlist.asp?Dltype=3 Check that out and then give the game a go Share this post Link to post
jeb2 0 Posted June 18, 2002 I downloaded this patch and I installed it, but it is still failing. Share this post Link to post
JP- 0 Posted June 18, 2002 hmmm well ive got it at home and it works fine on xp, how far does it actually get before failing? Share this post Link to post
jeb2 0 Posted June 19, 2002 Fallout 2 is installed but when I want to play, it indicates me that Fallout 2 won't run without the CD. However, the CD is in!! Share this post Link to post
DosFreak 2 Posted June 19, 2002 Is it the original CD? As far as I know all Fallout 2 has is the CD check. No other copy protection. So if your CD is an unoriginal copy it could be corrupted. Try a NO CD crack on it. Share this post Link to post
jeb2 0 Posted June 19, 2002 My CD is an original one! Where can I find a NO CD crack? Share this post Link to post
DosFreak 2 Posted June 19, 2002 www.gamecopyworld.com If you cannot find one then look on www.google.com for Daemon Tools. It's a CD emulator. Share this post Link to post

Preacher 0 Posted June 20, 2002 European versions of Fallout 2 are missing children in the game, but they have something that other version don´t have: LaserLock copy protection Share this post Link to post
DaveOwl 0 Posted December 16, 2005 I can't install the game on XP. If I click 'Install' on the autorun menu, the res switches and I get a black screen. After a few seconds it switches back to the desktop with the normal resolution. Same if I click the setup.exe on the CD also. Tried running the setup.exe in Compatibility Mode but nothing works. Using SP2 if it makes any significance. Share this post Link to post
