valery 0 Posted June 21, 2002 Hello ! I created a new session under windows XP Pro yesterday. Everything is right, every application works fine, but I CAN'T GO ON A HTTPS website with internet explorer (v.6) .... It's realy boring because I can't go on my mailbox, ... I have tried to uninstall IE 6 to reinstall it ... But I can't find where I can remove it ... Maybe I don't have to reinstall it, it's maybe a stupid option which is not enabled under this session (because under the other sessions of win XP, I can surf on a https website ...) Please tell me what I have to do ... And if I have to reinstall ie6, tell me where ... Thanks ! Val Share this post Link to post
wysiwug 0 Posted June 30, 2002 Val Go to My Computer, Add remove, and look for IE6. It will allow you to uninstall or ask you if you want to repair. It worked for me. Peter wysiwug Australia Share this post Link to post
Admiral LSD 0 Posted June 30, 2002 Unless someone knows different, I don't think thats possible on XP since IE6 is an internal component of the OS. Share this post Link to post
Sampson 0 Posted June 30, 2002 Sounds like you need to install your IPS. Share this post Link to post
lumpy 0 Posted July 11, 2002 Go to Control panel \ Add remove select add remove windows components, clear internet explorer, restart select internet expolrer or I believe you get an option to repair, try the repair first. Share this post Link to post
