D Town 0 Posted November 29, 1999 Has anybody been able to get this thing to work? From what I've figured out, the 3com Big Picture uses a Hauppauge Wincast chipset for the PCI part of it, and that much is at least detected in Win2k, but I can't find any suitable drivers. Unfortunately, neither the NT nor the Win2k beta drivers provided on www.hauppauge.com work correctly. Anybody else have better luck than I'm having? This is the only thing left in my machine that is keeping Win98 on a dual boot. Share this post Link to post
Shrink 0 Posted November 30, 1999 See my post re: the 3com usb network interface. I think that we will be waiting for win2k to be officially released. When I enquired with 3com about the usb network adapter they gave me the standard line about not supporting beta operating systems. Strange, since every one of their PCI and ISA NIC's are supported within the OS. That is the final piece of hardware that keeps ME from ditching win98 - well, actually that and the lack of drivers for my ATI TV Wonder PCI card. Frustrating, huh <g>? ------------------ 92% of the things we worry about don't happen - but the other 8% DO! Share this post Link to post
