DosFreak 2 Posted July 17, 2002 ehhh, more like it if you do not play the latest and greatest. 2-2.5 years ago=2000. Imagine playing MOH:AA,Quake 3,SS,SS:SE,NOLF today on your TNT2. Bleh! (I remember the pain...the horror...*shuder*) No thank ye. I'll keep to my upgrade cycle. (Buy when it comes out...but only but if it offers me a significant increase in FPS/compatibilty,usefulness) Share this post Link to post

Uykucu 0 Posted July 17, 2002 My upgrade cycle for CPU's is 3 or 4 models back and that's it. I buy the latest and the best board and as much memory as it can handle. The best type of course. (In my opinion it is Micron) My Mobo's are always Asus or Gigabyte, i prefer the asus, and intel chipset. Storage I upgrade (actually add) 2 latest drives every 12 months or so. And graphics cards i don't give much of a $hit about them. That is the way i do it. Share this post Link to post
