faab 0 Posted July 12, 2002 Hello, I've just installed windows XP. When I want to turn off my computer, Windows displays a message indicating that i can turn off my computer. The PC is not switched off automatically. It works with Windows Me. My PC is ATX compliant. The Motherboard is an ABIT BE6. Anyone can help me ? F@b Share this post Link to post
Champion_R 0 Posted July 12, 2002 If your system isn't detected as ACPI complient, you will have to go into power control panel and enable APM power management. Had to do this for a friends computer to enable auto turn off. Share this post Link to post

Champion_R 0 Posted July 12, 2002 is there an APM tab in the power control panel. Also check if you are even using APM power management. Share this post Link to post
