aze 0 Posted July 12, 2002 Hello! I'm looking for a truly recovering deleted partitions and/or files program. You can find by the net EASY RECOVER PRO, WINTERNALS DISK COMMANDER and other similar recovering programs. But I checked these programs cannot truly recover deleted partitions and files. They just appearance ($) recover programs. These weak programs cannot recover files/partition from a disk which were just the M-B-R sector erased! Do u know a program really works on recovering? thanks! Share this post Link to post
Admiral LSD 0 Posted July 12, 2002 You have got to be kidding about Winternals Disk Commander. A couple months back my partition table got quite royally screwed over (through a combination of Partition Magic and Yours Truly) and out of everything I tried (and believe you me, I tried a lot of different programs), Disk Commander was by far the best. Using it, I was able to recover almost 100% of my important data (the only thing I wasn't able to recover was an MP3 that had a Unicode character in its filename). The only thing wrong with Disk Commander is its price, USD$299 is way too much to charge for this type of program. Share this post Link to post
Uykucu 0 Posted July 12, 2002 Whatever you do, first make an image of that drive. then start trying. Share this post Link to post

jmmijo 1 Posted June 16, 2005 I concur with yutao on this one, Partition Table Doctor is great for repairing the MBR. There is also another option if you have another HD you can copy recovered files to, the app is called R-Studio, it recovered many files from a corrupted/hosed RAID Zero disk array for me Share this post Link to post

The software provides very useful functions for data recovery: DeleteRecovery, FormatRecovery, AdvancedRecovery, RawRecovery. This program is an efficient disk recovery software providing you a complete answer to data loss. First thing I recommend you download the demo version of DataRecoveryWizard. (http://www.[censored].com/download.htm) Run the program and select the recovery mode "DeletedRecovery", or "FormatRecovery", or "AdvancedRecovery". kmzpub 0 Posted October 29, 2005 Hi, Active@ undelete plays it really cool. It's algorithm is extremely powerful so it never failed me before. Give it a try, you won't regret it. http://www.partition-recovery.com/ For DOS based recovery Active@ uneraser is the choice IMHO. http://www.uneraser.com/ Share this post Link to post
