tjboyd 0 Posted December 1, 1999 I have a CHProducts Flight Sim Yoke PC which does not work properly on my game/midi port on my CL SoundBlaster Live card. The Setup supplied with the Yoke runs, but I don't see anything that installed in the Devices,etc... I can have a Sidewinder Joystick show up on the list, but I don't have that stick. I select 'Custom...' setup in the Sidewinder menu and Calibrate, but when I press buttons on the Yoke, in the 'Test' screen dialog, many controls with different functions light up (like 1/2 throttle and button 1 and 4 pressed when I press one button). Is there a way to set this up properly? Driver/dll substitution, Registry changes? I am trying to run Flight Sim 2000. Share this post Link to post
dhcomet 0 Posted December 2, 1999 I've had a similair problem. I've got a Microsoft Sidewinder Standard joystick which I plug into the Game/MIDI port on the motherboard (I have an ESS Audiodrive 3D sound card which is on the motherboard). I've tried using both the Analogue Joystick drivers and the Sidewinder Pro drivers, but when I go to calibrate it, there's no response. I've recently upgraded to Service Pack 6a, but I've also tried with a clean system, with Service Pack 3 installed and with Service Pack 5 installed - nothing. Can anyone shed any light on this?
