Nhl 2001

I have been trying to get this thing installed for a couple of days now.

The install hangs after the first 2% in a folder and file to the effect of c:/programfiles/easports/nhl2001/mmskin/*.png

it gets to this point (2%) and then jumps to 96% and completes the install but then i get an error message and there is no uninstall to use.i have wiped the directory clean and tried to reinstall and no luck

Sys specs...p4,1.7ghz,256mbram,20gbhd,on a gateway 450x laptop,ati mobility m6 card with 32mbram,soundblaster comp card,gamepadpro

my madden 2001 works with no problems...

anyone else have a clue how to work around this

hmmm, i;d say it's a defective cd. try the cd on another computer.

good guess...thanks for the try.

i already have the game installed from the same cd on my home based computer so it cant be the cd
