K7 Pro ATX IR3 Mainboard

Hello there,

I have a K7 Pro MS-6195 ATX IR3 Mainboard with a AMD Athlon 650mhz Processor.

I want to have a faster system. Can I replace a higher processor such as for exemple a AMD XP 1600+ or a AMD XP 1800+.....????

 

I'd realy like to hear someone about all this...

Isnt that motherboard a slot A board?

 

If so, then your going to have real trouble finding a cpu for it any more. It will most likely take up to a 1ghz Athlon, but finding any to buy is going to be next to impossible

I'm not sure of the board as I'm currently unable to access MSI's site, but M4 is right about the Slot A limitation.
