embj 0 Posted July 30, 2002 I unistalled Windows Messenger but, I found out that MSN Explorer needs to have it to connect to the internet. I disabled it before I uninstalled it and when I installed it again it was still disabled. Does anyone know how to re-enable it? Thanks in advance. Share this post Link to post
jdulmage 0 Posted July 30, 2002 Run Rollback on it RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove Did you try the wild idea of changing the BLC.Remove to BLC.Add or something? lol Share this post Link to post
Jerry Atrik 0 Posted July 30, 2002 if u altered the sysoc.inf file then u can reinstal it from the add/remove windows components. Share this post Link to post
embj 0 Posted July 30, 2002 I altered it through Run. I tried what you said, jdulmage, and it did not work. Good idea though. Share this post Link to post
