shearerc 0 Posted August 2, 2002 If I choose to download SP3 Express Installation (not the huge 120 megs file), can I save the downloaded files for future reinstallation? ...poor dialup users, have to resort to things like these Share this post Link to post
Toby 0 Posted August 2, 2002 sorry, I don't think you can. But go out and buy the next issue of a good computermag like "Windows & .NET Magazine", I'm sure they will include the big file on the CD-ROM /Toby Share this post Link to post
Xiven 0 Posted August 2, 2002 How sad am I? I downloaded the entire 130MB SP on 56k dial-up... Share this post Link to post
Silver-Dagger 0 Posted August 3, 2002 I love working in ITS for an EDU. I downloaded it in about 5 minutes (OC3) But I know about the 56K thing. That is all I have at home. I would just either do a getright session on it or find a friend with broadband and get him to d/l it and burn it to a CD. One could also check out the local computer geek store and see if they would d/l it or burn it for you. Share this post Link to post
Visceroid 0 Posted August 4, 2002 Well I downloaded SP3 via ISDN (around 7,5kb/sec ) Well if you don't pay per minute like I am then it's no problem to wait 5 hours for such a thing Share this post Link to post
