As soon as EasyCD access the RW drive, W2K blue-sceens with a failure in the new G400 driver.

Anyone got this combo working?

Iv been having issues in general with Adaptec 4 deluxe. So I reverted back to adaptec 3.5c, it seems to work flawless on my system. I tried Adaptec EZ 4 deluxe with all builds from rc1 and up. It was horrible on rc1 and rc2, better on rc3 but still not flawless, lotsa of crashes and system hangs.

Ditto on chameleon's post...

I'm running RC2 (about to be RC3) and my only burning software is EZCD4. I am using it with a Plextor 820Tsi. I did have problems with a Pacific Open EIDE 4X burner but I haven't even lost one CD to a bad burn with the Plextor, W2K, and EZCD4 combination.

And yes, I have updated to 4.01 - though 4.0 ran flawlessly for me.

Happy CD Burning!

Just found out that Adaptec has just posted another update to EZCD4 - with additional CDR and CDRW drive support. You might want to make sure that you have downloaded and installed that also.

Regards....

I'll try the update ayway, but things only started going wrong why I put in the G400 and the 5.x beta drivers.

I think it might be time to kick back to the TNT until the Geforce DDr arrives smile.gif
