daevid 0 Posted August 18, 2002 Under WinME compressed folders are Automatic , would love to know if anyone has found a way of incorporting this feature in win 2000 pro :x Share this post Link to post
uboofer 0 Posted August 18, 2002 Why would you want compressed folders in Windows ME? They just slow down the OS. Only OS's that can use NTFS can use compressed folders effectivly. They only compress to a certain point so that the OS is not impaired. Share this post Link to post
DosFreak 2 Posted August 19, 2002 Do you mean "compressed folders" as in the inferior equivalent to Winzip? or the file-system compression used by NT (inferior equivalent is 9x's Drivespace program) Share this post Link to post
