pkraus 0 Posted December 15, 1999 Ok I have spoken to differnt people and have gotten differnt replyies. I am running rc3 with a monster 3d card ( Voodo 1) Now I can get 3d support to work for most games UT ect.. But when I try to run D3D games they run fine but do not utilize the 3d card Revenant, darkstone ect. Now I have been told this is possible that its a driver issue. Please if you have any info on how to get this to work let me know. I have scored over the messages back almost 3 months and found nothing if it was or is there then I admit that I am incompintent and flame myself in order to save you the time. But please help. I have gotten everything else to work with win 2k rc3 fine. I am very pleased with it. But this issue has me stumped. Thank you in advance. Share this post Link to post
YuppieScum 0 Posted December 15, 1999 Current Voodoo 1 and 2 "support" under W2K is a (very good) hack based on the NT4 drivers. The NT4 drivers do not support D3D. You'll find this in several places in the message base - in fact I wrote the same answer as this a couple of days ago. Update: I actually wrote the answer to you.
