Spankee 0 Posted December 14, 1999 This question has been asked many times before on this board (I did a search for it), but I've yet to see an answer that works (at least for me). The problem is that OpenGL games (such as Q3A) run at 60Hz. Ick. There have been many suggestions: - use dxdiag.exe (irrelevant - it's OpenGL not Direct3D); - editing your .inf file (my one doesn't have the appropriate values); - or editing your registry to remove the low refresh modes (tried it, doesn't do anything). Is there really a solution to this? Nothing works for me. System notes: - TNT2 - Tried with 3.64 and 3.65 drivers - Win2k build 2195 - Desktop in 1280x1024 at 85Hz (the monitor can handle more than 60Hz ) Share this post Link to post
Spankee 0 Posted December 15, 1999 I don't see why I need a 3rd party, non-free program to do this. But anyway, it works after a fashion And also I've found that the 3.65 nvidia drivers are bad. Don't use them for directx stuff. Although it may just be my system. Is anyone reading this? Bah, I give up. Share this post Link to post
