adamvjackson 0 Posted September 22, 2002 Default for Win2k: Client for MS Networks TCP/IP File & Printer Sharing That's all you should need. Depending on your firewall/router, if applicable, you *may* have to open up some ports, however. Share this post Link to post
CUViper 0 Posted September 22, 2002 As a bare minimum, you will need: [*]Client for Microsoft Networks [*]File and Print Sharing for Microsoft Networks [*]TCP/IP [/list:u]You may also need IPX/SPX, depending on the games you are playing. I don't think you need it for either of the games you listed. Quote: ISA, coaxle NIC W2K SP3. I would strongly recommend that you upgrade your network... It's not very expensive to set up a 100 mbit LAN... Share this post Link to post

I seriosly need to UG pretty much everything, PII 400 and a K6 333. The AMD K6 333mhz is a mini tower, so alas only two PCI slots, both used for TNT2 32mb & other Sound Card. So i'm stuck with ISA on that one anyway. Though there is definatley a place and time for upgrading, "My Place" and "Future Time" currently the situation Share this post Link to post
