emthompson 0 Posted September 24, 2002 I have a question about opening up a file. It is a an application with a dos icon and is 238mb large. When I try to run it, Im assuming it will extract what is in it, I get a message in the cmd window that says the file is too larger to run in memory. Is there anyway I can get past this and into this file? I am running XP Pro (sp1) and have 512mb or memory. Share this post Link to post
emthompson 0 Posted September 24, 2002 OK, thanks. I will just get rid of it. Share this post Link to post
CyberGenX 0 Posted September 24, 2002 You could've tried to rename the file to .ZIP, .RAR, .ACE, assuming you have WinZip, WinRar or WinAce. Sometimes people will rename a file when sharing online to avoid detection by software police Share this post Link to post
