MarksmanX 0 Posted December 16, 1999 Hi guys, I was looking at my bios setting and found this: MPS revision 1.1 or 1.4 and MPS revision ISA type or generic can anyone help me in what this means? In the manual it says, select 1.1 and 1.4 and doesn't explain what it does. I have a dual pentium II 450 running W2K Thanks guys Share this post Link to post
YuppieScum 0 Posted December 16, 1999 MPS is "Multi Processor Support", and refers to the level of BIOS support given to SMP machines. As a general rule, higher is better - however, some ABit BIOS revisions stopped supporting USB under W2K when MPS 1.4 was selected. You should be able to get more info from www.intel.com Share this post Link to post
