teenguy 0 Posted October 10, 2002 Firewall has been installed in my office. When I type a ftp address in my IE address field. It gets hanged. But when I tried the same in my home it worked fine. I've got a stand-alone pc in my home. what would be the problem... Share this post Link to post
CUViper 0 Posted October 10, 2002 You sound like you know the answer already - the firewall is probably blocking it. You'll need to beg your admin to open outgoing port 21 connections (or do it yourself if you're the admin)... Share this post Link to post
