Baldurs Gate

Could do with a bit of help here guys!

Ok, my Baldurs Gate keeps blue screen crashing with what seems a different error message each time :

Kmode exceptions

Irq Not equal

all sorts, can't quite remember all of them!

It ran fine under win98se, but now it becomes a ticking time bomb once i start playing. Any thoughts?

Ok, system details:

win2k sp3

amd athlon 1.1ghz

512mb p133 memory

32 mb hercules geforce 2 mx (30.82 drivers)

live! player 5.1 sound card

asus a7v motherboard (via 4in1 443v drivers)

I've tried reinstalling Bg but no effect. Not prepared to clean install os, would lose to much! No cd-rw!

Oh yeah, Startopia's giving me the Kmode jobby as well

Everything else is runs fine.

I know both games arnt officially win2k compatible, but ive heard stories of them working fine on other peoples.

Thanks guys!

Hmmm, can you post an IRQ listing? Also does the blue screen show a filename? I'm betting that it's the Live? laugh
