LCFINST.Exe (????)

Greetings everyone

 

I have just finished a freash install of XP Pro and keep getting an error that windows can't start the above exe.

 

I have done a google, MS, NTComp, 2CPU search with only one reference (German forum).

 

Any help with this problem would be appriciated.

Seems to mention that file, and says it's part of Intel AMS support files, whatever those are.

 

But at least its a start.

 

Why you got that on a fresh install, I don't know... virus maybe?

I found out what it was.

It was the Intel LanDesk App conflicting with XP.
