Black and white on XP PRO

How can I get the game black and white to run on XP Pro?.. it opens it and starts to load and then crashes..

Yer, the game just runs.

Must admit I haven't played it for a while, however with the 1.1 patch the game ran fine on my system under WinXP Pro.

Well, when I say fine, it runs as well under WinXP as any other OS - Black & White truly is not the most stable game in the world and can/will give you errors and crash for no apparent reason.

 

If a game starts and then crashes and you've already checked to make sure you have the latest patch for the game, the first thing to look at would be video drivers.
