Forgive my ignorance, but what is open GL,and what importance does it have in a game.In the Homeworld Cataclysm game, they mention such a thing. There is a patch for that game, but would this take care of this problem. While we are at it.After someone has Downloaded a patch, and once it is on someone's desktop, does double clicking activate it and sets it up.Should this be done before the game related to this patch is installed,or after. Can this patch be moved to the C files and still function properly.Thank you.

I suppose you're talking about disk drive C and not programming language C..

In order to apply a patch to some program, it might be a game or some other application, it's obvious that you've got to have it installed before you apply this patch..
Patch is nothing more than a set of bug fixes or improvements. It's a setup program, so, after the install you may safely remove it.

Once again, it's a setup program.. So, yes, double-clicking or enter-pressing wink will do the trick.
