Ron_Jeremy 0 Posted October 27, 2002 I have some files burned onto a CD-RW that cannot be accessed. I can browse & open folders without problem, but opening/running files within the folders is another story. I used Nero to burn, & was told that the burn was completed successfully. I have mostly pictures (bmp's & jpg's), & some exe's (like winamp, video driver, etc). When I try to open some pictures, whether it may be a bmp or jpg, nothing happens. The exe's refuse to even run, giving me a "This is not a valid win32 application" error. Nero burned at the disc (Memorex Platinum CD-RW) maximukm rating of 4x. Can I "recover" any of these files, or is this particular disc toast? Share this post Link to post

adamvjackson 0 Posted October 27, 2002 I have used a tool in the past that has been able to recover 'lost' data such as yours. This tool is called IsoBuster, and can be found here. Share this post Link to post
