32 Bit Color

I just had a quick question. Does 32-bit desktop color depth have any adverse affects on performance or does it make no difference? I was just curious

With video ram over 8MB, you really shouldn't notice a difference. There are, of course, other factors, such as resolution, but for just 2D windows desktop/applications, you should be fine.
