david321 0 Posted November 11, 2002 I would like to know if its posible, to install on a new hard drive "D:" with another operatin system ( windows 98 ), on a computer that allready have windows xp. "C:" I would like to have the two systems on differents hard drives, and also restart the computer from the hard drive (operating system) that i chosse. adamvjackson 0 Posted November 11, 2002 Windows 95/98 in a dual-boot setup needs to be installed on the first partition. The best solution, David, would be to delete all your partitions now, Install Windows 98 on 'C:' and then install Windows XP on 'D:'. You may have to change the master/slave settings on your hard drives, as necessary. Share this post Link to post
