sbirsen 0 Posted November 13, 2002 Hi everyone, Does anyone know how to get Screamer 2 running on XP? I tried to get the resolution as low as possible as suggested before here in this forum, but lowest I can reach is 800x600. I also downloaded the Full Patch provided on www.sold-out.co.uk. But pressing S2.exe or any other .exe file which appeared after installing the patch, dos command is displayed saying 'Please wait', and then returns to Desktop. The game won't run when booting with a MS-DOs diskette as well. Anybody got any idea, I really want to get this game running on XP. Thomas Share this post Link to post
ConQueso 0 Posted November 13, 2002 Welcome to the forums. Okay, so Screamer 2 was released in '96... You could try getting ACT 2.6 and using QFixApp to force 640x480 resolution. Click on the Win95 layer, and then check a box under fixes for the screen res/color depth you want. For more info, try out my FAQ. Share this post Link to post
