DellA 0 Posted November 17, 2002 i need some help i can get the game to work in win2k but i can't get the movies to work in the game.. it works to view with windows mediaplayer so i have the codec installed but it just turns black when the game is supposed to play a movie... can someone help me? I'm having a similar problem because in my Windows XP Pro I can't even see the chocobos running in the first screen, nor sound is heard. Then I click the mouse button and it appears the screen in which I choose new game or save game. I choose new and nothing else happens, just black screen... It doesn't lock, though, I can quit via Ctrl-q. If anyone else can help us, pleeezzzz Regards! Share this post Link to post
wyrmling_x 0 Posted October 17, 2004 I'm having the exact same problem, sanduba. I'm running XP Pro as well, with a Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB video card. I played it years back on my Win98 system with a 32MB GeForce 2 MX440, but with my more powerful system it chokes. As ridiculous as it may sound, are our computers too good to run the game?
