DMA transfer and W2k

Is there any way to enable DMA transfer for DVD/CD-rom drivews under w2k?

hmm, im looking for that too ..my ls-120 is working too slow again, i need to find out if its checked off or not.. i do know that with adactec easy scsi, it can enabled dma for certain drives

In your device manager under your Ide Controller(NOT the device itself) you can get properties of the primary and secondary controller and select DMA mode if available.
