UMAX Astra 2400S SCSI Converted to USB Adapter

Install USB2XChange adapter, software, UMAX driver. Windows 2000 unable to locate device. What's the problem. Working on this for (2) two days.

 

What steps should I take to install scanner device.

 

It also keeps asking for IMag Imaging devices under Windows 2000.
