harshapillai 0 Posted November 26, 2002 hey guys, Can someone tell me why my laptop running win 2k professional keep on giving me Application error when i run the shortcut for explorer through my desktop? The error read " The instruction at "0x013a2a00" referenced memory at " 0x013a2a00". The memory cannot be "read"" I get this error if i try to open explorer shortcut which i create and sometimes when i open my computer. i tried sp3 also but no change. Mine is a P-3 configuration machine with 512MB RAM and 40 GB harddisk Laptop model is Toshiba TE 2000. Can someone help me with some info.plz Thanx, Share this post Link to post

BladeRunner 0 Posted December 12, 2002 Are you service packed to the latest version? Both SP2 & SP3 for Win2k added fixes for "Memory could not be read" error messages. BTW - The error lies in them being displayed, there isn't actually anthing going wrong, just throwing up an error message when it shouldn't do. Share this post Link to post
