Marktait 0 Posted December 3, 2002 Well guyz i am thinking of going for a £100ish 18GB 10krpm SCSI drive to use for booting windows and using on a few games. would this improve windows performance at all compared to my 7krpm IBM's? If so is it anoth improvement to sacrifice a weeks wages too? Thanx guyz Share this post Link to post
Jerry Atrik 0 Posted December 3, 2002 i rather prefer scsi to anything else. (shrug) ever since the first scsi units (2x 18k ibm scsi 160 on a adaptec raid) it screams Share this post Link to post
Marktait 0 Posted December 3, 2002 Since iv started work i have wanted to head in new directions with computing, try things i have never tryed and learn new things with them. I most probably will go for a smallish scsi drive for windows a maybe 1 or 2 games to run on. Share this post Link to post
tweaked 0 Posted December 3, 2002 SCSI owns me. my friends always say that IDE is just as good... until they see my load times are twices as fast as theirs! Share this post Link to post
