Curley_Boy 0 Posted December 4, 2002 Doesn't Mozilla share its bookmarks with Internet Explorer by default? Here's my setup: Admin logon (used to install Mozilla) Power User logon (used to run Mozilla) Internet Explorer 6 SP1 Mozilla 1.2b Windows XP Pro SP1 Usually when you install mozilla it auto shares its bookmarks with your IE favourites folder, but when I run mozilla the 'Imported IE Favourites' folder is empty. Is that because I used one profile to install it and another to run it? Or is it a bug in this release, I know 1.2.1 is out now and I'll try that on Friday. Suggestions plz? Go to manage bookmarks, tools, import. Yes the different install/accounts are probably screwing you up. It is not a bug, or, the version of Mozilla. Share this post Link to post
Micky 0 Posted December 4, 2002 I found that problem when i installed Mozilla 1.2.1 plus previous version, found a program though which can import them over from IE to Mozilla: http://www.manfred-dahlhoff.de/JetLinks Share this post Link to post
pulp 0 Posted December 11, 2002 also you can add this line to your pref.js or user.js to make mozilla import ur favorites automatically everytime you start it: Code: user_pref("browser.bookmarks.import_system_favorites", true); Share this post Link to post
