However a few of my house mates who are on the network nolonger want to share my connection. Is there some way i can provent them from gaining access to the internet via my router. The router is connected to a switch via RJ45 cable. All other computers are connected via this switch including myself. All the computers are Running XPPro/Home Thankyou for any help you may be able to offer. Share this post Link to post
adamvjackson 0 Posted December 6, 2002 I know it's possible with a Linksys BEFSR41, try checking the documentation that came with the router. You'll probably need to load the web-based firmware utility, which is usually done by typing the router's IP in the address bar of your browser. The default IP is usually 192.168.1.1 Share this post Link to post
