DOS games under Win2k

I'm trying to play a really (as in REALLY old DOS game) on win2k. But everytime I scroll (in the menu screen) the game automatically closes and prompt me back to desktop. Is there anyway to solve it? I downloaded and installed VMDSound and Service Pack3 as suggested.

As for FF7 search the forum for all FF7 threads and read 'em.

As I said,

the problem is that once I scroll even 1 mm in the pizza tycoon menu (where it lists start new game..old game etc.)..the game automatically closes and I jump back to desktop (before that, the graphics goes fuzzy for a sec).

 

Any solutions?
