adamvjackson 0 Posted December 17, 2002 Gamers everywhere, I just read that the Quake 2: Evolved project is on hold, due to use of some leaked code. I just tried this mod over this past weekend, and it had some great potential. If you haven't had a chance to check this mod out, depending on the level of interest, I may have a temporary mirror up. pmistry 0 Posted December 18, 2002 The Quake 2 source it out, but I don't think it is GPL yet. The GOLK code is illegal code that came from the Quake3 game itself and shouldn't be used. As for the project it will continue, I don't think these guys are going to give up on something that they spent so much time on.
