Cheezestk 0 Posted December 19, 2002 Please excuse my ignorance I am learning fast here on windows 2000, where can I find a driver for th old force feedback joystick? Mine works fine and I see no reason to buy the new one yet. Share this post Link to post
Cheezestk 0 Posted December 19, 2002 No this is the Microsoft Force feedback joystick. The old version. Share this post Link to post
thatsteveguy 0 Posted December 20, 2002 They don't have drivers for win2k for the old one. ( I have it also) you just go into game controllers, choose to add one and scroll down to sidewinder autodetect and that will put in the supported drivers etc so you can use it. works like a charm here. AdamHearn 0 Posted December 27, 2002 Perfectly? I've had on and off success with Force Feedback with a MS gameport wheel. It generally doesn't work If you got a USB one I think it works better? Grand Prix Legends WAS 'sort of' happy (and has now stopped working) Toca2 has never given me any FF under Win2K And Cheezestk, I know EXACTLY what you mean about NOT needing to buy another one Share this post Link to post
