Master of Magic - blank screen

Hi, I'm trying to get Master of Magic to work on Winxp Home.

 

Every time I try to run install, it just gives me a blank screen. I tried to get around this by just copying all the files to my computer and running magic. However, magic tells me that I need to first run install.

 

Does anyone know how to get Master of Magic working in WinXP? I'd really appreciate any help.
