Human_Chaos|TC| 0 Posted January 12, 2003 well, sorry about my english. I have a XP T-bred 1800+, ABIT KR7A-133R, 256MB DDR SAMSUNG PC2700, XFX GF4 Ti4200 64MB DDR rev 1.2 (dvi, blue). I have formatted this pc with my new CPU (t-bred) in place of the old palomino, installed Via 4in1 hyperion 4.45, detonator 40.72, XP SP1 and all of the windows updates. when I try to run Unreal Tournament in both modes (d3d or openGL) I have textures bugs like this: what is happening?!?!? the only recent change in my hardware is the CPU thanx for the patience Share this post Link to post
pmistry 0 Posted January 12, 2003 Try a different detonator. Overclocking video card? Enable V-Sync Share this post Link to post
Human_Chaos|TC| 0 Posted January 12, 2003 VSync enabled. I've tryed with 40.72, 40.03 and 40.09 detonators. No overclock. I think that can be the processor because it's my only hardware change and in the same day that I've change it, these problems starts :( Share this post Link to post
Human_Chaos|TC| 0 Posted January 13, 2003 it could be the processor causing these problems? please help me Share this post Link to post
Mr.Guvernment 0 Posted January 14, 2003 try a 3*. detonator or a 28.*. What resolutions are yuo running the game @? Share this post Link to post
FrogMaster 0 Posted January 15, 2003 Hmmmm, these bugs look like the "hall of mirrors" effect rather than texture bugs. Does this happen on all UT maps or only on some specific ones? If only on specific ones, I would say that those maps are badly built and have bsp holes. The game's engine tries to fill in the bsp "blackholes" with the most recent stuff it has rendered, thus this effect of repeating textures in some areas like when two mirrors are face to face and render endlessly each other's content. FrogMaster 0 Posted January 15, 2003 Hemmm, Human_Chaos|TC| You should do something about your "site". You are showing all your stuff to the world. I am not sure it is intentional. Took me a couple of minutes to be able to take ownership of it 8) I mean to be able, not I did. I potentially could have been able to ftp anything there. Take measures to protect it, please Share this post Link to post
