sapiens74 0 Posted January 14, 2003 KDS has a better warranty. I'm not as big fan of CTX monitors. Go with KDS Share this post Link to post
Avalanche 0 Posted January 14, 2003 Several people I know have KDS monitors, and they all have offered decent performance and a good price. All of them are still functional, which cannot be said for other value priced monitors I have used or seen. Share this post Link to post
Recharge 0 Posted January 16, 2003 the best 17" monitor?? hmmm let me think.... oh! i know... a 19 or 21" :PPP lol but seriouslly, the only way to accuratly choose a monitor is to see it and your other choice (s) in action, as in the end, the stats given by manufacturers are useless in comparing monitors. I'd personally choose a cheaper 19" over a "good" 17" any day the work area is well worth it. Share this post Link to post
Mr.Guvernment 0 Posted January 16, 2003 I have had a Samsung 19' and 17' - CRT's - both great. i also have had the viewsonic 17" E70 - okay monitor - kind of "dull" get anything with a dpi of .27 or lower if you can - also check out what the max res / refresh rate is as well. jeff* 0 Posted March 23, 2003 A 'good' 17" Samsung can match/succeed any 'decent' 19" generic Share this post Link to post
jdulmage 0 Posted March 24, 2003 Hansol has offered me the best monitors in my entire computer lifetime. I've had names like Daytek, NEC, Samsung, Sony, etc. and none of them have proven to be as reliable and of good quality like a Hansol monitor. I won't buy anything else now. Copernicus 0 Posted March 27, 2003 The KDS is nice but you can Flat Screen CRT KDS for not much more than than the non-flat screen CRT KDS Monitor. I can get one(XF-7B) at where I work(a Wal-Mart Supercenter) for $118. Share this post Link to post
