ConceptVBS 0 Posted February 2, 2003 Thanks for your response. Internet Explorer limits any software downloads to two(2), no more. I believe I saw some tweak that you can take this limit out. Anybody know what that is? Share this post Link to post
ConceptVBS 0 Posted February 2, 2003 I've found the information that I need. But I dont know how to input the strings into my windows XP regedit.exe program. It seems to be a little different than the one that is listed. Here is the directions I found in the microsoft site: To increase the number of simultaneous connections that are allowed to 10, follow these steps: Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe). Locate the following key in the registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings On the Edit menu, click Add Value, and then add the following registry values: "MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server"=Dword:0000000a "MaxConnectionsPerServer"=Dword:0000000a Thanks Share this post Link to post
el_vago32 0 Posted February 5, 2003 ok, ok, ok, i'm surprised cause..ok, let me ask first, the "2" connections per server is the default setting??, cause i have't done any tweak to my internet explorer settings (i guess that, anyway none of the tweaks i've done is related with this topic) and its set up to "0x0000014" or "20" in decimal. el_vago32 0 Posted February 5, 2003 Quote: The default changes depending on which IE model you install (4-6) I think, but 20 seems to be in place once you install IE6 iirc. * (That seems to be the number most folks choose & do well with!) APK yeah, i have IE6, but isn't this topic about IE6?, also, i dunno what "iirc" means, would u explain me that? thx Share this post Link to post

duhmez 0 Posted February 5, 2003 HTTP 1.0 limits to 4 by default, http 1.1 limits to 2 by default. 2 is weak. Share this post Link to post
