Windows XP SP1a is designed to ensure Windows XP platform compatibility with newly released software and hardware, and includes updates that resolve issues discovered by customers or by Microsoft's internal testing team. To determine whether to install Windows XP SP1a, we recommend reviewing the Windows XP documentation and information below. BladeRunner 0 Posted February 4, 2003 So, SP1a does the following things, according to the knowledgebase entry: Add/Remove programs entry now reads Windows XP SP1a Microsoft VM no longer included in the SP I have this feeling that people are not going to be rushing out to get this one.
