How do i get windows to remember my folders view type

Anyone know How do i get windows to remember my folders view type?

It use to work when I first installed now it defaults to freakin thumbnails...

Is there a way I can force it to remember ?

explorer window / tools / folder options / View - "remember each folders view settings "should do it.

Its checked already.... i think somethings f-ed up. Is there something i can do to fix it? reg hacks or something .... stupid windows

Fix a folder view as you wish, UNCHECK that box, and click on the button above that says "Like Current Folder".

ok, what if i dont want all my folders to be in "list"... just the folders that I set to list
