Setitie 0 Posted February 6, 2003 Hello. I just got a new work computer for a new employee. The computer is a Dell Celeron 1.7 with 128 MB of Ram and Windows XP Home Edition and Office XP. It's connected to our network. Since getting this computer, our new employee has been experience very slow issues with trying to open documents on our network. It doesn’t happen all the time, but it's starting to get annoying going back there to see what's wrong with the computer. I turned off the feature on her Norton Antivirus that scans Office Documents on opening, hoping that would help, but it doesn’t. The issue that seems to crop up, is documents that take for ever to load, close, or if she tries to delete something, says the document is open even though it's doesn’t appear in Windows Task Manager. Hopefully someone knows a solution to my problem. Thank you. Share this post Link to post
