Brian Frank 0 Posted February 9, 2003 I was inquiring over at another message board about if MS has another file system in place to replace NTFS with sometime in the future. I heard that this might be in Longhorn and Blackcomb. I figured I should hit this place up to find out if that was the case or not or if it's not a sure thing. Or should I be signing up for the beta testing? Share this post Link to post

adamvjackson 0 Posted February 9, 2003 I've heard that rumor, too, I guess it's to be based upon a SQL. Share this post Link to post
Brian Frank 0 Posted February 9, 2003 Ahh, you said the one based on MS SQL server, and now I remember hearing about that awhile back. I think Yamhill was supposed to be Intel's move against AMD x86-64 platform, but I forget what came of it. Share this post Link to post
DS3Circuit 0 Posted February 9, 2003 Not this upcoming version of exchange, which is 6.5, but later releases will be built upon this new NFS as well Share this post Link to post
